This is a symbolic event to usher students into the college as junior members. This was a short but very important ceremony organized to officially welcome and accept all newly admitted students to the college community and to their respective programs.

It's significance stretches from a mere welcome and ushering function to the taking of an oath. This oath is taken by all matriculants with a pledge to be lawful and loyal members to u phold the values and defend the good image of the college.
