General Studies


The department of General Studies was created from the Social Science department and it became fully functional in the early part of the year 2021 in the month of January.

Currently, the department is made up of two units made up of the Religious and Moral Education (RME) and the Information Literacy Skills (ILS) units. These units handle all the courses mounted for the department.

Information literacy skills is the main one semester course of the ILS unit aimed at equipping students with the skills of gathering information from various resources. Each unit is having three staff and this makes the staff strength of the department to be six.
